This is an interview with three exceptional Sales Professionals: Steve Yeatts, Todd Shannon, and Jason Lewallen. We spoke about their approach to Sales, and what is universally true in Sales.
What an enjoyable conversation with Ronnie Smith, MD, of Vidalia, GA. This podcast is not just an exploration in to Dr. Smith's career as a physician and entrepreneur, but also a philsophical expose in prejudices.
Ronnie is a country doctor - by his own declaration. And he has the drawl to back it up! But while many, if not most, in today's society would hear this Southern man talk and prejudge him with all of the requisite 'Southern' tropes, to spend time with Ronnie is to be in the presence of genius.
We learn about his upbringing in Cochran, GA, why he wanted to become a physician, and the path he took to get where he is today. We learn of the many 'firsts' that Ronnie can claim relative to medical procedures, as well as his brilliantly simple approach to providing care to his patients. That simplicity has not only served his patients well, but also been the catalyst for the formation of several companies in the healthcare space.
His motto is Healthy, Happy Patients.
Barrett Daniels, my friend and CEO of NextStep Advisor, checks in and talks about the convergence of Healthcare, Wall Street and the IPO world.
We talk about why there are not more 'prominent' Healthcare IPO's and stocks with sex appeal, what makes a healthcare company ready for an IPO, we take a brief foray into politics as it relates to healthcare, and discuss reverse mergers (I was really lost at this point).
We even somehome manage to talk about the cinematic classic Grease 2.

In this very educational episode, Erin Archer of Exclusion Screening, LLC and Ashley Hudson of Liles Parker PLLC educate me on Exclusion Screening - both the company and the Requirement. We discuss the difference between Exclusion Screening and a background check; what constitutes an exclusion; the perils of employing an excluded individual; and which individuals should be screened.
This conversation is a great primer for the webinar scheduled for late June, which will be led by these two attorneys.
This engagement was so informative that we are going to add this as a monthly podcast episode entitled "Legally Blonde" which will cover all aspects of Legal matters throughout the healthcare industry.
