This program will be limited to an examination of chronic wounds that discusses the importance of moisture balance and other wound bed preparation caveats, the key assessment components that differentiate a variety of commonly seen lower extremity wounds, and a review of evidence based practices that address older wound management strategies, such as wet to dry dressing use, as well as currently recommended wound dressing options.
