Webinar

Recognizing the Dying Process

7/19/2018 2:00 PM - 3:15 PM Eastern Standard Time

Presenter: Lisa Chapman, BSW Hospice Administrator, PruittHealth

Because our society has been anesthetized and isolated from death and dying for as long as any of us can remember, it has become a taboo subject and a “medical” situation.  The greatest gift that Hospice agencies can give their patients and families is the knowledge of what the future holds and discuss it in such a manner that they are able to be “participants” in the very natural process rather than “victims” of “failed medical interventions” to keep the patient alive indefinitely/forever.  This webinar will help Hospice clinicians give this gift.
