Increased length of stay has been shown to improve patient/family satisfaction while receiving the maximum benefit. Learning objectives for this webinar are:

  • What impacts your length of stay and various strategies can you employ to improve it.

About the Educator – Lance E. Danko, MSM, RHIA 

Lance is a tenured hospice professional with almost fifteen years of experience in hospice care, both in operations and sales. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management in 1992 from the University of Pittsburgh, followed by a Masters of Science in Management from Southern Wesleyan University in 2009. Lance has held several leadership positions in a variety of healthcare settings with a special interest in oncology and end-of-life care. He is also an Associate Faculty member at the University of Phoenix in Augusta, Georgia where he teaches several different graduate and undergraduate healthcare classes.
